Hey there! I’m a director, producer, and creator of performance works across theatre, opera, and more, based in my native New York City. My primary artistic interests revolve around work from or about the past (both collective and personal), and the process of adaptation; I’m passionate about taking new looks at existing texts (both dramatic and non-) encompassing classics, musicals, opera, and experimental theatre. My work is based in values of communication and communion, and explores the conventions and possibilities of the medium. I have worked at and for many theatrical entities in and around NYC, including Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Tank, La MaMa, Bedlam, Signature Theatre, and Long Wharf Theatre. I am a proud member of Krymov Lab NYC, and I produce Open Source, an experimental variety show devoted to the performance of text not written for the stage (currently on hiatus). Associate Member, SDC.
